What's Happening In the Neighborhood

12-14 Home invasion on Gregory. Thieves broke into the back door of the home and were apparently scared off by two dogs at the residence. This happened in the mid morning hours of the day. Nothing taken from the home.

12-13 Residents reported seeing patrol cars in the area. They were here working on catching speeders.

12-15 Four teens caught smashing mailboxes in Sumpter Forest (25 Mile and Romeo Plank area).

Month of December Kids going around the area smashing Christmas d?©cor and stealing things out of unlocked cars.

1-1 A new Lieutenant is assigned to Macomb Twp. His name is Gary Paolella and he will be the Officer in charge of helping us with our Watch as well as head up the Officers and goings on in our Township.

2-19 Lawn job on Freda.

2-20 Mailboxes broken on Freda.

2-21 Mailboxes run over on Evelyn.

2-21 Weekend Lt. Paolella reported that Deerwood Estates reported windows smashed on cars with items taken (called Smash and Grabs). This was also reported in the area of 23 Mile and Romeo Plank. Most times these happen between the hour of 3 AM—5 AM.

3-19 Smash and Grab on Freda and Smash and Grab on Jessica.

3-27 Resident reported hearing a loud noise at 12:30 AM. Resident checked outside and found nothing suspicious.

3-28 Resident from 3-27 incident called police after someone shot out the front windows of two vehicles parked in their driveway (with either an Air Soft or BB gun). At that time they noticed a large dent in one of those vehicles and determined that may have been the loud noise they heard the day before. A small red four door vehicle with three teens was seen leaving the area.

3-28 and 3-29 Lt. Paolella informed us that some homes south of us have been hit with bricks being thrown through the home’s windows.

3-31 A resident called dispatch about three cars speeding down Freda. The vehicles appeared to be
together in a pack. One is a white truck and the others were two dark cars.

4-9 Home invasion reported in Pine Point (25 Mile and Hayes area). Many valuables were taken from the home. This occurred between 10 AM and 10 PM.

4-16 9 PM Resident called dispatch about speeding cars in Macomb Hills subdivision. Two patrol cars were sent out.

4-23 to 4-24 A Peeping Tom was reported in Huntington Woods in the early morning hours.
