Make sure you report any vehicle break-ins

Please be aware that there have been numerous car break-ins in the area. Some in our neighborhoods and many others in the surrounding areas (Deerwood, etc.)

LOCK your cars, keep windows up and take all valuables out at night. The thieves seem to tend to get into unlocked vehicles and steal things that way. They lift car door handles to see if the vehicle is unlocked. If it is, they're in.

If you have had a break-in involving your vehicle....WHETHER OR NOT IT WAS LOCKED....please call the Sheriff's Office and REPORT IT!

The Sheriff's Office needs to know about all break-ins even if your car was unlocked or nothing was taken.

Make your neighbors alert to this info as well. The more informed we all are the easier it is to help catch the thieves.
