I'm selling my home in the spring-was just curious if anyone had sold recently/known someone who has and what their experience might have been. There are obviously a lot of factors involved(location, renovations, square footage, etc.)-mostly I'm curious how the mortgage problem and surplus of housing may or may not have affected the sales process and price of the home. I've seen some homes that have been on the market a while longer than I would have expected..I've also seen some price reductions on MLS.

Moving Slower

I have seen some homes that were 4 sale now being rented.

Others that were not ready to go on the market prior to Mid Summer seem to be sitting or facing some price reductions.

Winter is not the best time of year for selling a home.

Spring should be better! Good luck with your home in the Spring. I hope you get the price you desire.
