3 way and 4 way stops

Posted in: Madison Park
City Council voted unanimously to change the requirements for 3 way and 4 ways stops at 9:02 PM on 10/23/06. Based on this Doreen Szymanski with CDOT said our past request will be looked at now!

This should go a long way in calming traffic in our community! The new standard is 600 instead of 1000 vehicles in a 24 hour period.
Petitions are ready to Sign

Chip Gallup with CDOT has mailed the petitions to me for both Seacroft at Chedworth and Baker and Cooper. I will distribute those petitions in the very near future. These Stops Signs should help slow cut through traffic greatly, therefore making both of these side streets off Tyvola much safer for residents/pedestrians and pets.
Please attend the Holday Social

We need specific residents in our community near the 2 planned 4 way stops to sign the petitons. I will go door to door. If by chance we miss you ...please look for the petitons at the Chrismas Holiday Social on Monday 12/11/06 beginning at 7 PM at the Wedgewood Church our regular meeting place. Note the social will begin at 7 PM. If your name is on the petition already we would then like your signature in support of the 4 way stops to calm traffic.
Signing Petiton

Marty,
I'm 2 houses down from the Cooper/Baker intersection and definitely want to sign the petiton and I know my neighbors do as well! Do you know what time you are gathering signatures this Sat. 12/9?

Thanks!
