Madison Park

I'm not sure if this will post twice...sorry if it does.

1)Does anyone know if its even possible to pursue purchasing the vacant wentworth pl. lot? I know the city owns this property and the previous how was built on a slab (hence the flood issue)..but what about building a house on a crawl space?
2) IF question 1 is not an option-what about the possibility of making this a small park/garden/sitting area for the community? I'm not sure what would have to be worked out with the city.

I think that would be a great use...but not sure either....contact Parks and Recreation John McCLelland at John.McClelland@mecklenburgcountync.gov.
It would be nice to have a small park called Madison Park in the community. Parks and Recreation might consider the Marion Diehl Parks and Park Road Park all we need, but it is worth checking into it.

I don't think you could build a home in the flood plain now of any type, but I am not 100% sure.
