The South Division has received a number of calls about persons in their neighborhoods soliciting. This concern is an issue each year as the weather gets warm and people are moving about. We appreciate your calls and are pleased that so many people are watching for suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.

Because this activity alone is not illegal we are asking you to remain watchful. Please help us to identify those that may be potential criminals or not doing so in a respectful and professional manner. If you see any person acting suspicious, in the back of a home, being belligerent or aggressive in their sales please do not hesitate to call 911. When calling please request to see an officer and give a detailed description of the person. This is vital because often they are down the street or in another neighborhood before we arrive.

We appreciate your help with this and look forward to working with you to address any concerns you may have within our
