Increase Residential Burglaries
May 17, 2007
Good Afternoon Community Partners, We are noticing an increased amount of residential burglaries in all parts of our Division. Please be mindful of strange cars riding in your neighborhoods and suspicious people going door to door knocking to see if anyone is home. We are finding that criminals are targeting jewelry, electronics and of course money. Please secure these items in a less conspicuous place when you are not at home. I know it will be hard to hide large items so please engrave these items with your driver?’s license number. I am including some information handouts that you can give to your community members. Please feel free to contact your community officers if you need additional information. Thanks, Freda Sgt. Freda G. Lester
