I'd like you folks to know before hand that I have a 12:30 press conference scheduled today to announce a candidacy for NC Senate district 39. Madison Park is in that district so I look forward to taking the relationships we have worked hard to forge (''ya'll'' are my friends) and representing you in Raleigh. When I sit on the Senate floor you'll be sitting with me.
If you are available or you would like to blast this to your neighbors, it would be great to come down to the Gov Center and participate. With the kids out of school it would make a great ''field trip'' with a community educational twist. (don't tell the kids that they might learn something and DON'T COME IF THE WEATHER STAYS BAD.
