Tyvola Adopt A Street Clean UP Saturday 4/26/08

Posted in: Madison Park

Please help keep our community looking its best.

We will be cleaning Tyvola Road from Farmbrook to Park Road on Saturday 4/26/08.

Wear boots, long sleeves, pants, & gloves.

Meet at the Marion Deihl Parking Lot next to Tyvola Road at the Senior Center.

 Bags will be provided.

Bright clothing is the best.  We will have a limited number of orange vest for at least one person per group to wear.

The number of people that show up will determine how we do the clean up.  If we have a large number of people we will split and start at opposite ends of the clean up area.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hopefully everyone living in Madison Park appreciates your efforts to keep our community clean of trash and illegal signs when they drive through the community.

Remember putting yard sign sale signs on telephone poles and in the right a way is illegal per City Ordinances.  You could be fined 25 dollars per sign or more.  You should also obtain a permit to have a yard sale.   That said if you put signs up on any of our streets PLEASE REMOVE THEM immediately after the event.    Same thing on Lost Pet Signs or Found Pet signs those could also land you a 25 dollar fine per sign.  Remember you can always post your yard sales on the on-line calendar.  Send them to Martydoss@aol.com with date time and location and we will be happy to list them for you, or you can post in the discussion page if you register a user name.   You can post lost/found pets on the discussion page.   In case you did not know you can list a found animal at animal control and retain the dog until the owner can be found.  That way if the owner does check with animal control the pet and owner will be connected and the pet will not be subject to being put down if not claimed in the set time frame.

Illegal signs are removed weekly in our community on our Adopt A Street.   Tyvola is cleaned Quarterly from Park Road to South Blvd.    Large items are removed as soon as possible anytime they are spotted.    Clean up dates are always listed on our community calendar, minutes, meetings, & on this discussion page.    If you would like to help with a clean up....just show up at the posted date, time, and location.
