I will be moving to the neighborhood at the end of June :)  However, I the house I purchased has a storm water easement running along the backyard.  Has anyone ever had any issues with these flooding? Or any other problem?

I want to put up a fence but I'm afraid the city would come and knock it down.

 Thanks in advance.

i think the city just spent a ton of money fixing all the storm water issues in our neigborhood. take a look at the following website...

http://www.charmeck.org/Departments/StormWater/Projects/South+Boulevard+(Phase+II).htm

you can probably call the city and ask your questions...

i live on murrayhill between woodlawn and seneca and have noticed no issues since the city completed construction... they worked on it for over a year... but we haven't had alot of rain since so i'm still not sure, but it seems like they have done a really good job re-routing the stream and installing larger concrete culverts under murrayhill road and other streets in the neighborhood to move the water along to minimize flooding in the neighborhood...

Welcome to the neighborhood.   There was flooding in the past but the City just completed South Blvd. Storm Drain Phase II last fall.  This work should help with the flooding.  To be safe on the installation of the fence call 311 and they will direct you to the proper dept. to answer.
