National Night Out 2008 Entertainment,...

We have three different types of entertainment lined up for National Night Out.  Bring a lounge chair or blanket to sit on and get ready to be entertained.   Entertainment starts at 6:15 pm.  You will have to show up to see the line up.   Please Tip these peformers.   Many do not live in our community and they are all donating their time for your pleasure.

We also have all types of amusements coming that will entertain all ages. 

There will also be free food items again this year.

Come out and enjoy this free community event produced by your Madison Park Homeowners Association.   This is Madison Parks 4th annual National Night Out. 

The Years event is sponsored by TARGET the official sponsor Nationwide of National Night Out,  Madison Park HOA, Giant Genie Pharmacy, Keller Williams Realty agents living in our community, Prudential Realtor Agent Sue Valentine-Plyler, contract donations from YES - Your Event Source, Park and Recreation, and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Dept.

The years event is larger due in part to the Matching Grant we obtained through the City of Charlotte NC.   Matching means the HOA will either match our Grant with volunteer hours, cash, or in kind donations. 

Invite your relatives and friends and come out to the largest National Night Out in Charlotte!

Be sure to stop by the Madison Park HOA tent to pick up Police Safety info and info on our community Madison Park.

Location same as last year.  Fairbanks Road between Wedgewood Drive and Valley Forge.   This location provides for ample parking around the venue.  You can also park on the North Side of Tyvola and walk safely across Tyvola using the cross walks at the traffic light. 

See you Tuesday evening August 5th, 2008 starting at 6 PM and running until 9 PM.  Please be extra careful when driving in the area on Tuesday evening. 

Keller Williams Reality backed out of supporting National Night Out on the evening of 7/21/08 stating they were sorry for the inconvenience, but some of their agents that had committed to sponsoring a food item backed out on the group of agents.  They also lost their support from Marble Slab.  This left the remaining interested agents with too large an expense to participate on their own. 

We will miss their participation this year, but will cover their pullout with HOA funds, and still plan to provide ice cream to our event attendees.

The HOA appreciates agent Molly Zahns continued support by including our event in her newsletter which she distributes through our community.   Molly always includes our events in her newsletters and the extra advertising is appreciated.
