For the second time today, July 24, 2008, a concerned citizen assisted the Westover Division with the apprehension of a burglary suspect. After 4 pm, a concerned citizen observed two subjects enter a home on Morris Field Drive. The concerned citizen notified 911. When Westover Officers arrived, one subject fled the home. Officers gave chase and the suspect was apprehended.
The Westover Division would like to recognize the outstanding work of its officers and its concerned and involved citizens.
At the time of this Gov Delivery message Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Burglary Detectives was interviewing the suspect.
