Saturday, October 4, 2008

This event will:

  • Educate and inform Charlotte-Mecklenburg citizens of the many safety, health and prevention efforts in our community.

  • Provide and make available as many opportunities as possible to connect people with resources, programs and agencies that make our communities safe.

  • Provide a fun and festive event to build neighborhood capacity throughout the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Festival of Safety (CMFS) was created by a core group of local government agencies to highlight the many services available to Charlotte-Mecklenburg citizens working to keep our community healthy and safe. Using the same basis as National Night Out, CMFS is designed to bring key agencies, organizations and businesses together to work toward a common goal and provide a platform for everyone to highlight their programs and services.
