We need someone to step foward and consider being our 2009 Secretary. It is an important position and one that we cannot afford to leave open.
You will need a home computer.
You must be able to attend our monthly meetings.
Take notes on guest speakers, open discussions, and add in the crime stats to the agenda notes.
April Mays is ending her second term as current Secretary. She has done a terrific job over the last two years. She has even agreed to continue to send out meeting minutes, meeting reminders, and urgent news in 2009. So this will take away some of the responsibility and make this less time consuming for the new secretary.

Our previous two secretaries Cheryl Furr and April Mays can always be a back up in the event that the secretary cannot attend a scheduled meeting.
This is a great way to get involved and give back to the community. The minutes are read currently by hundreds of your neighbors either on line, or from the copies emailed out to our membership list.
The only requirement is since we are an HOA that you must be a property owner in the community to be an officer or board member. All residents of Madison Park be it rental tenants, business owners, or homeowners are welcome to become members of the association.
