There has been a significant increase in the amount of traffic recently, as well as speeding, on Farmbrook Drive between Tyvola Road and Emerywood Drive.
We've been working with CMPD for the past several years to get the speeding problem addressed - problem is, it is worse on weekends, especially during the Spring, Summer and Fall months. CMPD comes out weekdays when traffic volumes are lower.
Farmbrook is used as a "cut through" street for people who wish to avoid the intersections at Park & Tyvola. One way to combat both the speeding and the cut-through traffic would be to install "All Stops" at the intersections of Fairbanks, Valley Forge, Chedworth, Wensley, and Tamworth.
I'd be very interested to hear if any residents have strong objections or support for this. I've mentioned it to the Montclaire Neighborhood Association president, as well, to gauge support or objections from people on Farmbrook, from Chedworth to Emerywood.
I'm NOT saying that we will ask them to be put up, but I would like to have some idea as to the support or opposition of checking into it. I'm primarily interested in hearing from residents who actually live ON Farmbrook, since traffic impacts those residents most, especially those with small children.
