Hello Neighbors,

We had a dog emergency last night when a neighbor let her dogs out into her yard not realizing that the tree people had been in her yard while she was at work and the dogs were in the house and left the gate opened.  The dogs, Turk a Doberman, and Rocky a Shepherd mix were wandering on to Tyvola where Turk was hit by a car.  She is in stable condition at CVS after undergoing surgery last night.  Rocky came home this morning.

This situation may have turned out differently if we had known where the dogs lived.  There is an informal call list of people who are notified when a dog is missing which I would like to turn into a Lost Dog "Phone Tree" for Madison Park and Montclair.  If you would like to be part of this "Phone Tree" please e-mail me your information.  Feel free to include picture of your pets that I can be e-mailed to our neighbors if you dog is lost.   I would recommend sending the following information:

Your Name

Telephone numbers (home & mobile)

Address

Names and descriptions of pets

Pictures of pets

This information will be distributed only to those on the Phone Tree.

Please forward this e-mail to our neighbors who's e-mail address I do not have.

Cheers,

Deborah
