Neighborhood Safety Workshops

  The City of Charlotte's Neighborhood and Business Services Department is sponsoring workshops focused on neighborhood safety.  We are doing this in partnership with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept., Charlotte Fire Dept. and the Dept. of Social Services.  Please share this information with your neighbors and friends who might be interested, as it is free and open to residents of any Charlotte neighborhood.    Neighborhood Safety Forum Saturday, June 20, 2009 8:30 - 9:00 am  Networking and light refreshments 9:00 - 11:45    Workshops   Valerie Woodard Center 3205 Freedom Drive Cost:  Free Souvenirs and give-aways   Pre-registration is preferred: 704-336-2061 or www.neighborhoods.charmeck.org (Online registration will be available beginning 6/11/09.)   This event is for adults and teen-aged participants who have an interest in making their homes and neighborhoods safer.        Cynthia Woods
