avoid identity theft and join District 4 for a Community Shred Event

Saturday, July 18

10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Hosted by Council Member District 4 Representative Michael D. Barnes

Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill

8760 J.M. Keynes Boulevard.

Micheal D. Barnes, District 4 Representative, encourages Charlotte citizens to

bring as many as 3 banker boxes full of sensitive information for shredding at

this community shred event on July 18th.  Come out and learn more about the

dangers of identity theft and ways you can avoid it.

Shred-It can shred CDs, paper, file folders, staples and floppy disks.  It is very

important that citizens bring the material in bags/boxes/totes that are good

shape, as old boxes and trash bags can break easily.

Many thanks to the event sponsors, Shred -IT and Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill, for

participating in this worthwhile event.
