City Council Candidates Forum

for all District 1,4,5 and At-large Candidates


This is the only east Charlotte forum before the important primary
election which will determine who represents us in Districts 1 and 5!


Don’t miss this first chance to see these 20 candidates side by side,
addressing issues of importance to our entire city, as well as some
specific to east Charlotte.

The importance of this election cycle, and it’s power to profoundly
effect the future of our community, for good or bad, cannot be
stressed enough.

The Forum will begin promptly at 6:30 so please arrive early.

Where:  Hickory Grove Recreation Center Gymnasium, 6709 Pence Rd,
Charlotte 28215



Moderator:  State Representative Tricia Cotham



Participants:  All six District 1, District 4 and District 5
Candidates, and 14 of the 15 At-large Candidates are confirmed, for a
total of 20 Candidates.





Format: Candidates will each make opening statements, answer questions
prepared by a committee of individuals representing the co-sponsoring
organizations listed below, and make closing statements.
