Interesting fact is the story states there have been four rapes in the past year within one-half mile of the Yorktown Apartments.

The lady attacked on Kentland Lane this am is one of our neighbors and a member. She use to walk everywhere. I was unaware she had recently broken her leg until just seeing the story of her attack on the news. I am sure those of you that know her that she would appreciate a ride from time to time to the shopping center. I have always stopped and pick her up when I saw her out walking. I know she goes to church in uptown Charlotte.
Hopefully this is the person mentioned in this story in September that attacked her. She did a great job of defending herself and calling 911. Police arrived in time to arrest this person. |
