WBTV reports police are searching for a rape suspect. A hispanic women was raped in a home invasion in aapartments on Tyvola Road around 8 AM. Suspect according to the victim: The woman told police she was sexually assaulted by a tall black male and he was dressed in all black. She said the man ran away from her apartment.

Says for residents to keep their doors and windows locked and leave on all outside lighting at night.
Police are searching for a black male..dressed in all black possibly wearing a mask. If you see anyone that fits this description call 911 and report immediately. Message was sent out in Spanish then in English. |

Good news. RAC Response Area Commander J. Hulsey called and said they arrested a suspect in the rapes/attacks.
WSOC just showed the suspect and says they have evidence that ties him to a couple of the recent attacks.
