Once one-stop early voting ends on October 31, the final opportunity to vote will be Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at regular polling places.

Election Day and Early Voting Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to work polls in Early Voting, October 15th-31st, and Election Day, November 3rd campaigning for Susan Burgess!  

We need volunteers for all shifts, early morning, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, or after work. 

If you can work more than a single shift that would be greatly appreciated. Let us know if you have a preferred location. 

Volunteer today by sending an e-mail  campaignmanager@susanburgess.org. Please put "election day volunteer" in the subject line.

Susan Burgess T-Shirts will be given for volunteers to wear while volunteering.  We will supply you with Susan Burgess literature and mints to give to the voters.  

YARD ART STILL AVAILABLE

If you have not gotten this season's hottest yard art, the Burgess yard sign, a limited number are still available.

How to get a sign:

• PICKUP: 1333 Carlton Ave (on the front porch)
• PICKUP: 5223 Londonderry Road - just off Tyvola (on the front porch)
• PICKUP: Democratic Headquarters at 500 E. Morehead

Important reminder:  All signs must be placed on private property at least 11 feet from the curb, out of the public right of way. No signs are to be placed between the curb and sidewalk within any planting strips.   Some candidates have already been issued fines for illegal placement and we don't want to join the list! If anyone sees a Susan Burgess sign placed illegally, please correct the situation or alert us at once!
