Per details from 8/08 meeting minutes regarding this topic the City of Charlotte Department of Transportation sent out post cards today to the residents on Baylor Drive and Grice Court alerting them that CDOT has authorized Duke Energy to install additional street lights on these two streets.
Post card states the work will be performed on the City of Charlotte's right of way. Residents are instructed to mark or flag any private object such as irrigations lines, invisible fencing, etc. Duke Energy or the City of Charlotte is NOT responsible for any damage caused to unmarked private buried objects during construction.
