I received the final copy of the Lamont/Longwood feasibility study during Christmas week.  To make a street connection between Lamont and Longwood would require a very expensive bridge to avoid creating additional flooding problems and would require raising Wedgewood Drive by several feet in places.

It is not feasible to do that.  There will not be a street connection here due to the property impacts.  A bike/ped connection, which can have a much less stringent design, is still possible, but there will not be a street.
