 *ADVISORY* - Roads will refreeze overnight as temps drop.Black ice is a real threat and motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians need to be extra cautious. Streets and sidewalks will be very slick and may be covered with a sheet of ice.  ??‹

Charlotte Area Transit System

 

CATS bus service continues to improve, and only eight routes remain on detour at this time. No changes for LYNX Blue Line or CityLYNX Gold Line at this time.

Service will operate as follows on Sunday, Jan. 24:

  • Buses will operate according to their Sunday schedule.  We anticipate having a small number of routes on detour. Customers should still expect some delays.
  • LYNX Blue Line will operate according to its Sunday schedule. Extra trains will be in service before and after the game.
  • The CityLYNX Gold Line Streetcar will not operate on Sunday. CATS is working with CDOT to prepare the alignment for service on Monday morning.

  • Accidents with Property Damage (on and off roadway): 54 incidents
  • Accidents with Injury: 19 incidents
  • Disabled Vehicles: 35
