Visit Gov Porch to watch Aug. 21 Solar Eclipse! 

On Monday, August 21, the sun will disappear behind the moon, creating a solar eclipse across North America stretching from Oregon to South Carolina. The peak for Charlotte will take place at 2:40 p.m. Join us Monday afternoon on the Gov Porch of the government center to enjoy this historic event! City employees have a great afternoon planned!
