I actually saw a demo of this product at the August 2017 Waste Management Advisory Board Meeting. The inventor was at our meeting to share the product. He said it would work best if you placed it on a roll cart to bring it curb side, due to the fact that dragging it could burn or damaged the mesh. He mentions the mesh issue on his web site.
The bags are somewhat expensive, but look like they would work great if you can afford them.
County had much rather you use pretty much anything other than plastic bags. They are going to push out a lot of tall paper bags this fall for residents to try out the paper option. Not sure who or when those will roll out. We gave some out a couple of years ago at the Spring Show at the Merchandise Mart. Paper will compost and there is no need to pay city workers to work at compost central ripping plastic bags off yard waste in the fall. The plastic trashes the compost. During peak seasons bags are often thrown in tack into the truck at curb side.
Another good options is plastic cans for leaves which you can reuse. They are probably less expensive than the Burrito Leaf Bags, but do remember No Lids should be used on those plastic cans curb side.
