Three Reasons Why You Should Take the Food Too Good to Waste Challenge

1. The Food Too Good to Waste Challenge will save you money. This day in age, everything seems so expensive, especially if you have a family or are trying to be healthy. The Food Too Good to Waste Challenge will teach you waste reduction strategies (including tips on food prep, storage and grocery shopping) to help you save money while living healthier!
2. The Food Too Good to Waste Challenge can change your life. The Food Too Good to Waste Challenge is not just a challenge about reducing food waste. It also challenges participants to rethink certain habits and adopt a new way of life. Participants will be able to see through their score and how they feel that reducing waste makes for a better self and environment.
3. You have a chance to win cool prizes just for participating. If the first two reasons weren't convincing enough, take the challenge for the chance to win cool prizes and city-wide recognition. Some of the prizes are solely based off participation, meaning you do not have to have the highest score in order to receive a prize.
The Food Too Good to Waste Challenge begins October 30. To register for the challenge visit tiny.cc/F2G2WChallenge. Once registered, plan to attend the Challenge Kickoff Thursday, October 26, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 1105 Otts St. to receive information about the challenge.
