The reason for the need of this page is that Douglas Welton current HOA president took it upon himself to BLOCK Madison Park resident Ruth Tansill from posting on the HOA facebook page. She got a message yesterday that she has been blocked from the site from facebook. He apparently kept deleting her facebook post to save the date for the Halloween Trunk or Treat, and food truck rally for Halloween that she has been working weeks on. She did ask the HOA to support her with a little cash for the permit. She never got an answer only questions.
Ruth is the resident that put together the 4th of July Flags and Earth Day in Madison Park.
Douglas did this after telling her he could not post one of her events on the HOA web site calendar about the book drive, (a slippery slope reason given), and that she should use Facebook and Nextdoor. A book drive that benefits Habitat Humanity.
What's Up with that? More bullying and rudeness from Douglas our so called President it appears to me.
Shame on you! I don't mind calling it the way I see it. Residents need to know how you are treating people that live in Madison Park.
I guess when he wrote the home page of the Web site that states
Welcome to Madison Park!Madison Park Homeowners Association is about bringing neighbors together. The association is committed to encouraging community involvement to support a high quality of life for our residents while increasing the value of our homes.
That it was simply a lie! Blocking community involvement. Not encouraging it by any means.
Stand up and tell the HOA this type of action is not ok.
Contact the legal and illegal board members now and demand they unblock our neighbor in Madison Park from posting on the faeebook page. Remember we have some board members serving now that were not elected, as NO elections were held in 2016 nor 2017 to date, and some of the current boards more senior members terms have expired. You cannot operate illegally HOA board. Those senior members are not bad people by any means. They just have gone over their term limits.
Eric Stenstrom needs to be president in my opnion, get the expired board members off the board, and elect some New People to the board.
This is just sample of the HOA and how they act lately. They actually tried unsuccessfully to take this site down a few months ago. Something I did not share at the time. That was some bull because this site is being used for general neighborhood info and is no different from the multiple facebook pages, multiple nextdoor pages, currently operating.
It appears to me current HOA president is all about censorship!
