Now if the HOA can find the missing elections for this year, and figure out how 3 of the board members continue to serve without elections that would legitimize the board. .
One who has served for 6 years ...2 years over the max term of two 2 year terms without a 1 year break.
One was elected only as an officer for 1 year in 2014 and never reelected by any members of association.
The other one clearly listed as coming off the board ...but never happened.
All this clearly documented in the November Election HOA minutes of each year for the upcoming year of service.
Not to mention that twice new people served as President that had not served 1 year on the board before becoming president.
Anyway keep working on it and you will get is all straightened out. Lets Make Madison Park Great Again, or at least the HOA. The neighborhood itself is pretty awesome.
I do hope the board realizes that all the boards new folks terms expire the end of Dec.2017, that were elected 2 years ago this November. All those newbies can be re-elected by the membership should they run again and still meet the rules to serve in the original bylaws.
They should also realize any votes taken over the years that included expired board members terms that voted are not legal votes.
The reason we kept such good details in the minutes all these years is it gets confusing to keep up. If you don't show who it on what base on the playing baord then our little minds tend to forget. Hopefully not forgetting on purpose and it was just an honest mistake.
