A "Treat" to HalloweenThe Madison Park Neighborhood has overwhelmingly voted to support an October 31st Trunk or Treat / Halloween Food Truck Rally event this year. This funding campaign is to cover the costs of hosting this event in our own Madison Park Central Park. The dream is to have live entertainment, food trucks and an awesome turnout of neighborhood families to enjoy a couple of hours enjoying dinner and trick or treating before they make their rounds on our neighborhood streets.

I was asking Ruth where the need for $'s came in on this event. She has to pay city permit fees for food trucks and if she is able to get the band there is a charge and charge for generator.
So if you would like this event ot move foreard, please spread the word and help her with the fund raising.

Help spread the Gofundme link. HOA will not help pay for the permits on this event and even worse BLOCKED Ruth from using or posting anything on the facebook page. That facebook page was created by Beth Smith-Shuey realtor that lives in Madison Park years ago,without permission or request from the HOA at the time. Douglas current HOA president is also an Admin of the Madison Park HOA facebook page that he has promoted for years, but apparently on Monday he said in the public monthly meeting the HOA has no facebook page. You folks using the Madison Park HOA page might wish to ask what that is all about! Tell the Admins of the site that you don't need him or her to censor your post. |
