The annual Charlotte Salute to Veterans Day Parade officially ushers in Veterans Day.

The event showcases local middle and high school bands, the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program units, active military units, antique cars and veteran organizations. In 2016, more than 2,000 participants gathered to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
