It has been the honor of my life to serve you as Mayor of Charlotte.
Over the past two years, we've worked hard to create tens of thousands of jobs, make housing more affordable, and defend the values that make our city a great place to live.
When you cast your vote on Tuesday, I want you to know that the best candidate to carry on that work is Vi Lyles.
I have worked alongside Vi for years, and I am lucky to know her as both a colleague and a friend. Vi will champion Charlotte's industrious spirit, listen intently to our neighborhoods and communities, and work to bring change where change is needed in local government.
For decades, Vi has represented Charlotte as a public service administrator and a City Council member. During that time, she has proudly and passionately served the Charlotte community with unwavering commitment and advocacy. I know she will continue to do so as our mayor.
