Dear Neighbors,

The holiday season is quickly approaching and would love to continue a holiday tradition with all of you! Please join in celebrating this holiday season by lining our neighborhood streets with candle luminaries! Help us “light the way into the New Year” on Sunday, December 31st and transform our neighborhood into a beautiful winter village!

1000 luminaries will be provided for Madison Park neighbors, first come, first serve to enjoy. This year, participation will originate with a homeowner or a street sponsor / captain. The luminaries will consist of a votive candle, votive candle holder placed in 2-3 inches of sand, a luminary bucket (if desired) all placed in a white paper bag. Sand not included.

Participating homeowners or street sponsors line the street with candles! The luminaries are placed 3 to 5 feet apart and everyone lights their candles by 6:00pm, Sunday December 31st. We should have (Weather permitting) several hours to enjoy the impressive sight! If you will not be home to light your candles, but you wish to participate, a neighbor can light your candles for you!

If you are interested in participating, there will be FOUR dates for luminary supply pick up (pending how the supply last). The pick up dates include Saturday, December 23rd and Friday, December 29th and Saturday, December 30 and Sunday, December 31st. Times and location are the same each date. 2pm to 4pm at Madison Central Park. The cost of the luminary kits will be a donated amount of your choice. Each kit includes: 4 long burning votive, 4 votive cups and 4 luminary buckets and 4 white paper bags. One luminary kit will be adequate per home. Corner lots and curves will need an additional luminaries.

Volunteer help will be needed with the distribution of kits, please let me know if you wish to help on any of the four dates!
