The final day to change your party afilliation was

Friday, April 13, 2018.

If you are registered as a Democrat or a Republican, you will receive that party's ballot only.

If you are unafilliated, you may vote in either the Democratic or the Republican primary.  You will state your choice when you present to vote.

If you are registered as a Libertarian or in the Green party, you are not eligible to vote in this primary.

Vote Early 5/3, 5/4, 5/5

The only place you can still register and vote.  Remember you can voe early at any Mecklenburg County site.   You can only vote at your assigned Precinct on May 8th and you must of registered 25 days prior to the election.    So take advantage of early voting one stop, curb side early voting, if you moved less than 30 days or more than 30 days in Meck county early sites can do it on the spot.    

They can access all ballot styles.   On Election Day May 8th your assigned precincts only have the ballot style for your area.
