I am starting to suspect the light rail extension has increased the crime south of Charlotte along the light rail communities. We have had spikes in crime in the past but it seems to be more consistent now especially along South Blvd shopping districts and spilling into our communities since the new extension opened in March.
Lets see hop a train illegally don't buy a ticket (like that does't happen). Ride it into our communities. Commit your crimes and take your loot back home, or in some case drive yourself back home in our stolen autos.
