This needs to stop. It is embarassing to Charlotte! It is not the National News that a Charlotte Leader should wish to get in the news.
Watch A&E and watch the disgusting way those Officers are treated on that show Live PD every Friday and Saturday night. These people they are detaining are not treated with any Respect. It seems at least on this show it is about race and being negative even when the officers are black. They often get the race backlash thrown in their face. Last week one officer in Arizona flat out told the person he was dealing with he was not going to allow him to play race with him, since he was a black officer. He said I have treated you with nothing but respect. It has nothing to do with being black.
Never Drivers License, driving on suspended license, riding dirty with guns and drugs, jumping out of cars and not following commands, and Yes Coping a Big Tude with the officers. This show comes from across the US and it is not localized with the pattern I see on that show.
I have never had anything but nice interactions with our officers regardless of their race.
Everyone I know that watches the show says why in the Heck (better word you can fill in) would anyone wish to be an officer.
Don't group all Officers in that negative way under that statement.
