Hello!
You are receiving this e-mail because you are listed as an active participant in Charlotte’s Adopt a City Street Program. It’s a pleasure to meet all of you all! My name is Jonathan Hill, and I’m the new Program Manager for Keep Charlotte Beautiful. I come to Charlotte from Durham, where I was born and raised and recently worked as Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator for Keep Durham Beautiful. I’m reaching out today to introduce myself, and to let you know of a few important updates and reminders about the AACS program:
1) Many of you put your bags in your personal or business bins once you’ve completed a project. However, for those of you who rely on the city to pick up your bags, please call 704-432-2224 to arrange a pickup, not 311. If you are unable to reach anyone, please leave a message.
2) Litter Supply Request and Litter Reporting forms are now online! If you are in need of supplies, please fill out a litter supply request form here at least a week prior to your cleanup date. In addition, please fill out a litter pickup report here within 72 hours of your pick up!
3) If you have any photos from your event, please feel free to send them to me at jonathan.hill@charlottenc.gov
4) Groups are required to conduct at least three cleanups each fiscal year (beginning in July and ending in June the following year). You’re free to do as many as you like, but try to hit that number by June!
