Paste the above link in your browser for the 19 locations to vote early in Mecklenburg County. Rememver you can curb side vote if you can't get inside the early voting site. You can still request those Absentte Ballots and anyone can vote from home that is registered.
ALL EARLY VOTING SITES are closed this weekend 10/20/18 and 10/21/18.
Next weekend they are open 10 am to 5 PM on Saturday 10/27/18 and Sunday 10/28/18 1PM to 4 PM. The last Saturday to vote early is November 3rd. 2018 hours 8am to 1PM. If you miss early voting then you must vote at your assigned precinct on election day, and you must be registered to vote. Same day registeration is only available at Early Voting to those with proper documentation. Otherwise you must be registered to vote 25 days before an election. Remember if you have moved and live in Mecklenburg county it matters where you vote based on the day of your move. If you moved less than 30 days prior to election you must vote at your old precinct. If you moved more than 30 days you must vote at your new precinct. If you show up at the wrong location on election day you will be redirected to the proper place to vote. However only at early voting can vote at the same location. Reason early voting ONLY has all ballot styles. On election day your assigned precinct has only the ballot style for that precinct.
Early voting and absentee ballots are the very first ballot counts reported on election day.
Followed then by ballots cast on the voting machines on elections day.
Provisional ballots are not counted until approved upon canvas day which is several days after the election at the time the election is certified.
