Novant Health
Novant Health has made the careful decision to enact changes to help protect the health and safety of our patients and team members.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Nonessential surgeries, procedures and doctor office visits are postponed.

If you are impacted, a scheduling coordinator will be in contact with you directly to reschedule.

2. Use MyChart for prescription refills.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please call your doctor’s office.

3. Use our coronavirus screening tool to assess your symptoms first.

Our coronavirus screening tool will give you immediate recommendations for care. If it recommends follow-up care, please call ahead before arriving to any location. We will help direct you to the right place for further evaluation and screening. This will help you get care quickly while helping to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

4. Come to all clinical appointments alone, if possible.

If it’s necessary to bring someone with you, we’re kindly asking anyone not being seen by a provider to wait in the car. If a family member needs to be present during the visit, we’re limiting it to one healthy visitor 13 or older, and this individual will be asked to wait in the exam room with the patient.

5. Visitor restrictions are in place.

Hospitals have put in place visitor restrictions. Patients can have a maximum of two visitors, who must be immediate family members or designated caregivers, 13 or older and healthy, at any given time.

6. Classes and Events are cancelled.

All community events and classes at our facilities are canceled until further notice, including lactation classes, facility tours and Baby Cafés. We encourage expecting moms to consider these two online class options: Childbirth Education and Breastfeeding Basics.

We understand this is a time of uncertainty for many. Know we are here to continue caring for you and your family. The most important thing to do is to stay calm, stay informed and wash your hands.
