Join us next week for Med Mondays!
 
Eating the Med Way has been proven to protect against chronic illness. In some cases, eating the Med Way may even result in decreasing medication taken for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes.
You are invited to join us for Med Mondays to learn about the Mediterranean eating pattern (aka eating the Med Way)!
Here's what to expect: 
  • Learn 1-2 simple Med steps, including tips and hacks, each session 
  • A wealth of knowledge from Extension professionals
  • Social interaction to share your successes and challenges, including a Facebook group and small group discussions 
  • Med Way recipes with recorded food demonstrations and/or cooking instruction
  • Summer food safety and recipe tips to keep you on track
Each week class participants will meet on Mondays
from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM.
The session format consists of: 
  • Weekly meetings via Zoom (1-hour lesson, approx. 30 min Q&A)
  • Follow up emails with recorded lessons, printable handouts, recipes, and recorded cooking demos. 
  • Offline challenges, giveaways, and access to a closed Facebook group.
  • Access to 7 Extension professionals to answer your questions about the Med Way.
