I was watching TCM Brewster McCloud from 1970 Robert Altman Movie. One of the first scenes is Margaret Hamilton singing the Star Spangle Banner! What caught my eye was her marching band appeared to be all black. The majorettes were out front on their knee during the anthem!
Then the next part really caught my attention they break out into the black national anthem! Lift Every Voice And Sing!
Then to top it all off a large part of the movie was inside the Houston Astrodome!
It was totally bizarre to be watching this in 2021!
