Injured Bear

Martin,

Despite some wins for wildlife this year, we’re still racing to confront countless threats across the nation. From deadly algae blooms to devastating wildfires to punishing heat waves to mysterious diseases, America’s wildlife needs our help to face these challenges. That’s why we’re asking our dedicated supporters to tell us about the threats facing your local wildlife, which will help inform our conservation efforts on the ground.

Will you help us address conservation challenges in your community? Take our quick 2021 Wildlife Threats Survey and share your thoughts on the biggest threat to wildlife near you.

Everywhere you look, there is another threat to our nation’s wildlife and biodiversity.

Bears caught in California wildfires are being treated for severe burns. Manatees in Florida are dying of starvation at a record pace. Endangered salmon in Washington are being cooked alive by unsurvivable water temperatures. An unknown disease is killing East Coast and Midwest songbirds.

This is where you come in: We want your input on the most pressing issue facing wildlife where you live. Will you take our one-question survey right now?

We need to hear from wildlife lovers in every state to give us enough information to plan our strategies. Your answer to this question will help us direct our resources more efficiently and save more species.

From our family of wildlife champions to yours, thank you for your continued support. We know that we can face these challenges if you’re with us.

Thank you,
National Wildlife Federation Membership Team
