CDOT needs to put up some signs on Londonderry telling the long line of cars lining all the blocks of Londonderry back to Tyvola in the evenings to STOP Blocking driveways.  

I saw one neighbor put his own DO NOT BLOCK SIGN on the utility pole.   CDOT needs to scatter them all along Londonderry where there is utility poles.   I don't think anyone else wants poles in their yards outside of what is already up so utility poles would be better than nothing. 

The school needs to send a letter home to those drivers picking up children the same message.

Someone is going to have a HEAD ON COLLISION in the mess.   Last year and again starting yesterday we literally have cars lined up almost to Tyvola on Londonderry.

These go all the way down to Kentland and back around to Flagstaff to the school.

Drivers are going around all the lined up PARKED CARS down the wrong side of Londonderry. 

COMPLAIN to 311 to CDOT and complain to the principal at the school until someone does something with this mess!  

Principal Rodd contacted me this evening and said she would remind the parents to not block driveways.     She said they wanted to be good neighbors!    Hopefully this will help some with the evening traffic jam.   She also requested I meet with her and their resource officer.   

Maybe they can come up with some better solutions.   At least in the evening there is no speeding like in the am traffic rush to the school.
