SilverDuck Tree Banding

On Monday, November 1st, SilverDuck Tree & Yard Services, LLC will start its 2021 tree banding process.
You are receiving this email because you have used our service in 2020 or have requested to be added to our schedule for this year.
If you are looking to have your trees protected this year, we request that you reply to this email with a "Yes please" or other affirmative answer TODAY! We will then add your home to our schedule.
It is important to understand that banding is a PREVENTITIVE type of pest control. Just because populations drop, does not mean that they can't explode from one year to the next. Cankerworms have a cyclical life cycle that spikes and drops about every 7 years. 
We will not include your home unless we receive your approval email. You will receive a confirmation email.
 
Secured Yards and Marking Your Trees
Our crews will work 7 days a week from 7 AM - 7 PM. If you have trees in a gated or locked area, please let us know when you reply so we can organize a day and time where you will be able to leave the gates unlocked or we can meet you at your home. Otherwise you do not need to be home when the service is performed. If necessary (recommended for new customers) you can mark your trees with flagging tape that can be found at Home Depot or Lowes.  You can also take photos and send them with your affirmative email response.
 
Two Stage Process
For the majority of our clients we will band your trees in a 2 stage process:
Stage I Physical barrier (band/trap) attached to the trunk of the tree.
Stage II The application of the Tanglefoot (glue) to the trap. This process starts the week of Thanksgiving, and continues up through the conclusion of our service on December 23, 2021.
All our bands are removed at no additional charge beginning in April, 2022.
Current banding customers (2021) will receive a discounted rate on Spring Tree Spraying services. 
Many of our customers request 'bundle' packages for both banding and spraying. 
Our prices are based on 3 different tree sizes:
 
Small (1-3 Feet around) = $20.00 (10% of the trees we service) 
Regular (3-10 Feet around) = $40.00 (72% of the trees we service) 
Large (11-13 Feet around) = $50.00 (10% of the trees we service) 
Giant (14+ Feet around) = $60.00 (8% of the trees we service) 
  • HOA's, Neighborhood Associations, and City municipalities receive flat rates per tree, as does any customer with 15+ trees.
