Good Afternoon Adopt a City Street Participant,
Thank you for the continued work to keep our streets litter free! I wanted to let you know of an upcoming grant opportunity that you, your organization, or someone you know of may be interested in. Each year, Keep Charlotte Beautiful awards up to $5,000 for community beautification projects. This competitive grant is open to neighborhoods, businesses, nonprofits, schools, and individuals citywide.
What makes this grant unique? Projects must fall within the five tenets of Keep Charlotte Beautiful: litter prevention, waste reduction, recycling, beautification, and community greening. Letters of intent are due on Wednesday, November 17th.
Interested in learning more? We will be hosting (and recording) a pre-application workshop via Zoom on the evening of October 20th. Please register in advance here.
