There is at least one company in the area that will vacuum your leaves.    

GreenWorx180 has been doing a few yards at least in Montclaire for the last couple of years.  

The leaves are normally blown out to the right of way, and then the truck comes and vacuums them all up.  As long as you are not piling them in the street to possibly clog the storm drains this is an option for leaf removal.

I assume since he has been doing the same locations in the area for the last couple of years that the residents are pleased with his work.

They have been in Lawn and Landscaping Business since 2017.

I told him I was going to post their info in case any residents wished to check out this option.

I suggested the county and city compile a list and share those on their website of companies offering this service!   They already do something similar for trash haulers in unincorporated Mecklenburg!  Jeff Smithberger, the director of Mecklenburg Solid Waste, responded they will have their staff gather businesses names that do this service, and share on the county website in the future!  They already see these businesses coming into their centers,  so it will be easy for them to create the list!

Hopefully this will provide citizens with more options, for leaf removal!  I have had residents ask me if I knew companies in the past!  I did not until I spoke eith the one company this am, up in Montclaire!
