Give back this holiday season through Keep Charlotte Beautiful's Adopt-a-City Street Program
Interested in giving back to your community this holiday season? Consider adopting a city street! Keep Charlotte Beautiful requires all adoptees to clean up a minimum of one mile of road at least three times every fiscal year (from July of one year to June of the next year). The program also lends out litter grabbers, gloves, vests, and trash bags when you need them and can help you arrange for the city to pick up your bags after your cleanup. In recognition of your work, the city will install two free, relatively customizable street signs in places of your choice along the route. Questions? E-mail kcb@charlottenc.gov for more information.
