Falling Star? Ball of white light.

Posted in: Madison Park

I was coming up Seacroft this am just before sunrise toward Tyvola near Chedworth.    It appeared to be in the area of Fairbanks to Tyvola when this bright ball of light came down to the ground.  Not overly large but about the size of a basketball.   It of course could of been farther away than what it appeared to be.   The light appeared to go down to the ground.

Could of been a meteor.

For Sure What I Saw this am.

Are you ready for one of nature's best shows?

According to NASA, the Geminids are among the "best and most reliable meteor showers," returning every December. The shower is already active in 2021, but it will peak Monday night into Tuesday morning (Dec. 13-14).

“Rich in green-colored fireballs, the Geminids are the only shower I will brave cold December nights to see,” Meteoroid Environment Office lead Bill Cooke said on NASA's website.
