For over a year a street light down in Montclaire just before a large section of no lights, going up the hill prior to Wensly was emitting a purple light. It had been that way for at least a year. Yesterday a resident said hello and complained that he had attempted twice to get the light corrected. He said both times he entered it in the system with his address it showed up a bit later repaired. However neither times was it corrected.
I went online yesterday and noticed that two lights in the block between Kentland and Wensly were missing from the Duke Energy street light neighborhood maps. So I emailed and was sent back a case number shortly afterwards. Last night Duke emailed to say the work was completed. I was walking very early this am and the light indeed was changed out.
Normally, you can take a number off the street light pole or find it on the Duke Map click on it and report a street light issue. They are good about repairing. In this case it was not on the map nor did it have a pole number nailed to it.
There is also a link on this website homepage under pages and links that will take you to the site to report and issue with a street light.
